My name is Christine Crawford and I live in the lovely town of Strathaven. I got the bug for Drama and Acting when I was a painfully shy 8 year old. I knew from then it was something I HAD to be involved in. It was a revelation for me, being that shy girl, that I could be someone else and therefore was able to express myself in every way possible. I moved to London and studied Drama and Acting at Arts Educational School, London. Thanks to the generosity of Sir Anthony and Lady Hopkins I was able to finish my studies and went on to tread the boards in the West End, in London and toured Nationwide in various theatres with award winning plays.
Since moving back to Scotland I have placed my own child in various groups. My experience was disappointing as I failed to find a club that focused on the members experience.
Our Core Values are to use Drama as the tool to empower our members to open themselves up to each other and the world around them.
We aim to maximise the experience for the members. Making memories for parents as well as the members!
As a Community Interest Company all the funds we raise are channeled back into the club to help us grow and keeping membership affordable to all. We strongly believe there should be no barriers to anyone enjoying and benefiting from the wonderful world of Drama and the Arts.
